To support that, all South 57 Traffic Management team members are allocated a body camera as part of our standard safety protocols.

They can deter individuals from engaging in aggressive acts, thereby reducing the likelihood of conflict escalating into something more severe. Additionally, these cameras have been proven to de-escalate potentially violent situations simply by being visible.
